Photisms was a project that took several years to come to completion. It was an collaboration with the Oxford based artist Joe Vestey who challenges us to come up with ways to “Photograph Sound” In the end we create long-exposure photographs of PC monitors displaying colored Fourier transforms of the audio we were listening to. To my delight this created a series of beautiful color spectra which were totally unique for each individual audio file.
